Spring Support Conference

The HR Support Staff conference provides useful and up to date information that you can apply to your job and your district. 

Topics include - Investigating Employment Law Issues | Shana Lewis, Working with Difficult People, World Cafe, Understanding WISEstaff, Creating a Monthly Checklist, and Shaping Your HR Future. 

Shana represents private and public sector employers in a broad range of labor and employment law matters, including family and medical leave, harassment, employment contracts, and collective bargaining. Shana’s practice focuses on representing school districts throughout Wisconsin on issues ranging from labor and employment matters to pupil discipline, open meetings, public records, and other matters of import to Wisconsin schools. She also has significant experience conducting investigations for private and public sector entities concerning allegations of harassment, bullying, and discrimination involving staff and/or students.

Join us at the Heidel House Resort on April 9 and 10, for the Spring HR Support Staff Conference.  Connect with other school HR professionals and learn from experts in the field.  We know HR is more demanding and complicated than ever before.

Kindly note the different types of registrations offered. Any employee of a WASPA member district is treated as a "member" for registration and fee purposes.  There is no charge for retired WASPA members.

Heidel House Resort Green Lake - Reservations

Please contact Heidel House Resort directly to reserve your accommodations. To make a reservation, call (920) 807-0300 ext 2, and ext 2 again to speak directly with Heidel House Hotel Staff. Indicate you are with the group, “Wisconsin Association of School Personnel Administrators, or WASPA” and booking under the their Room Block. If asked for a group code, use code LH74M0. The block of rooms will be held until March 17, 2024.  After that date, reservations will be allowed based on hotel availability.

If applicable, remember to bring your tax-exempt certificate when checking in.
